Knucklebone - Original Standard Metal Editions
Knucklebone - Standard Metal Editions
Aroundsquare's Standard Metal Knucklebones are a pocket friendly skill toy that can be manipulated to perform tricks or just pass the time. The brass model is relatively heavy at 84g, Copper is at 89g, Stainless Steel is at 78.6g, and Aluminum is at 28g, and carries a fair bit of momentum. The surface is machine finished with a light polish, which provides a good amount of grip to prevent it from slipping out of the fingers. Playing the heavy metal versions can be good exercise for the fingers, and the momentum can be an advantage for learning certain tricks. The metal kbones are laser etched with the word "a r o u n d s q u a r e" around the equator to mark their authenticity.
The weight and hard material in Copper, Brass and Stainless Steel mean it will make a loud noise when it is dropped on hard surfaces, and has the potential to break things in its path. Be careful with it. The brass is relatively soft, and will still show scratches and dings on the drop portions.. it falls with weight, so it hits concrete hard.
The aluminum Knucklebones are precision machined from 7075 aluminum, and feature a stunning sandblasted finish, and a subtle "aroundsquare" word mark around the grip section. The sand blasted finish is aesthetically beautiful, but more importantly, it plays incredibly well. The finish provides the right amount of grip, while still feeling smooth, with a low friction contact for rolling between the fingers. The weight of the solid aluminum kbones is perfect for players of all ability levels, and this model is preferred by many top players.
