Shipping policy
Order Timelines
We work hard to ship most orders within 2-3 business days after receiving them. However, this fluctuates depending on order volume, and delays of a few additional days are common after a product launch. We do not work weekends or statutory holidays. Actual shipping (transit) times depend on the destination country and the shipping service selected.
Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for inputting their complete, accurate shipping information at checkout. Beware of auto-correct errors and old addresses that may be saved in your account. Always double check your shipping information. If you notice the information you included is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us immediately at hello@aroundsquare.com Once a package has been shipped (picked up by the courier) we are unable to make any changes to the address.
Combining Order Shipments
If you’ve placed an order that hasn’t shipped and would like to place a new order and combine the shipments, we can do this for you--provided you let us know sufficiently early. Please make a note on your second (or subsequent) order AND email us at hello@aroundsquare.com
In the past, we defaulted to combining shipments automatically, but we’ve had to adopt additional software packages to accommodate new tariff policies for international shipping, so the process is no longer guaranteed.
Duties for Shipments to the US
As of August 29, 2025, US Government policy requires us to charge the imposed tariffs to our customers. The tariff rates vary depending on the specific item, but are generally around 35%. These tariffs must be Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), which means we are required to charge these tariffs at checkout, and we use Shopify’s built-in calculator and collection system. They will show up on order confirmations and invoices as “Duties”.
VAT & Import Fees
For the rest of the world, the pre-payment of duties and taxes is not required. Any such duties or taxes (VAT, import fees etc.), if applicable, must be paid prior to or upon delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to know their country’s rules and requirements.
