While Aroundsquare lives primarily online, we're strong advocates for the analogue. At AO2 HQ, we make heavy use of index cards, and as we've slowly added to our stationery range over the years, we found ourselves yearning for something a little bit better than what is generally available. These cards are the result. We tried out a wide range of different card stocks, and finally settled on a very nice, clean white 200gsm stock, uncoated, but smooth, for a very pleasant writing experience. And unlike most card stocks, they handle fountain pens well, slight feathering with thicker nibs, but no bleed or ghosting. We've done these tools up in a large format 4" x 6" size (the standard "large" size for index cards), as well as a smaller, thinner "pocket slim" size, matching our small pocket slim notebooks (and roughly the size of a regular sized cell phone) for easy pocket carry. We've done these both up in 100 packs, for a nice beefy supply.
Index cards are great little units for lists and tasks, for jotting and sharing ideas, for notes, and for organizing bigger projects. These are all things that could be done on a screen, or on a long roll of parchment for that matter.. but there is something quite different and quite powerful about being able to lay out a small stack of cards, move them around, and add to them as need be.
