Greys Begleri - Mixed Media Editions
The Greys are a small, nimble, technical begleri design, developed by Ilya @slingthe0ry Indrulinas—begleri legend and founding member of the AO2 Crew. The bead is reversible and very comfortable during play. However, please note that, while this design is beloved by intermediate and expert players, it was not designed as a beginners’ model. Your mileage may vary, but new players will probably be happier with a slightly larger design with a more traditional barrel shape.
The Greys are available in:
- SS natty (mini) - 8.7g per bead
- Brass (mini) - 9.3g per bead
- Copper (mini) - 10.0g per bead
- Titanium polished ~ 8.7g per bead
- Titanium tumbled - 8.7g per bead
- Titanium sandblasted ~ 8.7g per bead
- Titanium shinobi finished (black) - 8.7g per bead
Designed for use with 550 paracord (included). All extras such as cord, stickers, pouch etc. will vary depending on availability.

So simple… so perfect
Fantastic. Copper mini’s are beautiful. And paired with the silk string. It’s just amazing.
Probably one of my favorite shapes in terms of comfort and weight distribution. I like these on a bit of a shorter string as they have a low profile. have them in ss and I’ll prob get some in ti. Fantastic fit and finish, not that it matters much as they’ll bang each other up anyway. Nimble and play uniquely, great for techy stuff and just all around a nice comfy set.
This is the third set I've purchased from Aroundsquare, definitely an adjustment to make with this shape vs the mini hydras I started on —the regulars feel quite small because of how far flush the shape fits between the fingers and the lightness of titanium is new to me— but they feel amazing, both to play with and just to hold, I especially love the black cerakote finish. I'll probably end up picking up a set of minis in the future as well.
