Deadeye Donut Hollows - Titanium Edition

Our Deadeye contact coins have been around for a long time, providing all the good, old-fashioned benefits of a challenge coin or worry stone, but offering countless additional opportunities for manipulations and sleight of hand tricks. Our original Deadeye Hollows took this to an extreme by hollowing out the core of the coin and allowing for additional manipulation opportunities. The new Donut Hollows continue the tradition, offering a much more substantial feeling carry item, with all the same features that have made the Deadeye series a modern classic.

The Donut Hollows feature a 10mm cross sectional diameter, much thicker than our original Hollows, but with the same overall diameter. This gives these beauties a much more substantial feel in the hand, with accentuated ergonomics that are great for manipulations as well as just general handling. Somewhat counter-intuitively, these new hollows are in many ways more conducive to manipulations than the original Hollows. However, folks who are accustomed to handling the originals may find the new Donuts a bit awkward at first, as they handle a bit more like the original Deadeyes themselves rather than a Hollow. Whatever your intentions for them, it's hard to deny that they're also just very nice little pieces of metal.. if you appreciate the simple geometry of our Nowhere Planks, and even if you aren't much for manipulations, these new Hollows make a very satisfying little carry item.

Details:

  • Material: gr5 titanium
  • Dimensions: 37mm exterior diameter (the same as the original large Deadeyes), 17mm interior diameter
  • Weight: ~29.4g
  • Available finish: polished

General Information On the Deadeye Coins

Aroundsquare’s Deadeyes are part skill toy, part worry stone, part mind control device. Roll them between your fingers, or press use your thumb into the smooth contour and breath deep to dissolve the stresses of daily life.

These contact coins are designed to be handled and manipulated. On the surface, the Deadeyes look like just a refined worry stone made from metal, and they certainly serve well for that. They are precisely crafted and beautifully finished, with an ergonomic indent on either side that is perfect for thumbs of any size. But as you’d expect from AO2, there’s more to it than that. The concave shape and resulting ridge around the perimeter make the Deadeyes perfect for contact-style manipulation. With practice, they can be made to roll fluidly between the fingers, or back and forth over the thumbs, and isolations can be performed where the coins appear to be floating around the fingertips.

All Deadeyes are packaged in a box, and ship with Aroundsquare stickers.

Stunning little object to play with

Amazing little donut, just the right size to hold and play with. Very different feel to the deadeye but just as much fun, chunky and substantial yet delicate and pretty.

Gift a cop one of these!

I'm a huge fan of the OG hollow deadeye. In my opinion it's my fav of all the deadeyes I own. However once I saw this big boy my interest was piqued. The weight is spot on. I do prefer the finishing on my og hollow but I can't complain as the size seems to still float through the fingers. I was scared at first that I wasn't going to like how big it was but it just works somehow. If you are on the fence give it a shot and if you don't like it plenty of cops out there could use a different kind of donut for break time. 😎

High quality item

Very well made. Great for rolling around the fingers. Only drawback in my opinion is that it is not branded like the Knuckle Bones.

I love the weight and the polish on this. It is definitely a lot easier for me to manipulate this one. So thankful.
